Update Installation Instructions
- Click on the link above.
- Click "Run".
- Once the download is complete, click "Run" to start the installation.
- Follow the onscreen prompts to continue through the installation.
- Once complete, double click on desktop icon for the game to open the Launcher.
- On the Launcher, click the "Auto Configuration" button. This will set the game to the appropriate settings for your video card.

Update Description
Due to recent Microsoft security updates Phantom EFX has been required to update their C++ library. This may cause problems to customers who do not have the latest Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package ATL Security Update installed on their computer. This update can sometimes be installed through a Windows Update or through the Microsoft website. Without this update you will receive an error message "Application has failed to start". Below are instructions on how to install this update from Microsoft’s website. These instructions are the same for 32 and 64 bit operating systems.
